For many pets this can be such a wonderful addition to their pain management plan. The two things I love most about Tui-na are 1.) There are no bad side effects! And 2.) your pet gets to spend more quality time with you! There are so many benefits of massage when you know the right techniques to use at the different locations on the body.  A few of these benefits include strengthening the immune system, supporting soft tissue health, muscle mass & strength, reducing stress & anxiety and nourishing your pet’s soul. 

When creating a chronic pain management & palliative care treatment plan, my top priority is to improve and preserve good quality of life. For me this means, that your pet is able to do the things that bring him/her joy and interact & engage with your family. I find that clients who seek out TCVM or a more holistic approach, want to be part of the solution.  Tui-Na allows you, the pet parent, to be an active part of the solution.

The plan I create will be flexible and will allow you to incorporate massage into your pet’s routine as much as the day allows for. Every pet is an individual, and depending on the individual pet’s needs, Tui-na is something that can be incorporated daily or several times per week.
