Angel Pets Veterinary Hospice Video & Audio Recording Policy

At Angel Pets, we understand that saying goodbye to a beloved furry family member is an incredibly emotional experience, and some families may wish to record the moment for personal or memorial purposes, or to include family members who cannot be physically present.

While we respect that our services are provided within your home, we also have a responsibility to protect the privacy, dignity, and comfort of our veterinary team, as well as to maintain the professionalism of the medical procedures being performed.

To ensure mutual respect and clarity, we kindly ask all clients to adhere to the following guidelines:

Video & Audio Recording Guidelines

  1. Recording must be requested and approved in advance.
Any form of video or audio recording—whether for documentation, live-streaming to a family member, or personal keepsake—must be discussed and explicitly approved by the attending veterinarian before the appointment begins.
  2. The veterinarian has the right to decline recording.
Our doctors are under no obligation to consent to being recorded. If a doctor declines, we ask that you respect their decision without question.
  3. No covert recording is permitted.
Secret or unapproved recording of our team is a violation of our policy and may result in discontinuation of services.
  4. Live video chats for absent family members are allowed
as long as they are arranged respectfully and do not disrupt the process. Please inform the veterinarian beforehand if you’d like to video call someone in.
  5. Recording must not interfere with medical care.
The focus of our visit is to provide gentle, compassionate care. Recording must not delay or interfere with the medical procedure or compromise the emotional space of the visit.

This policy is designed to protect everyone involved—your family, your pet, and our staff—during what is often a sacred and emotional moment. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Warmly,

The Angel Pets Team
